Gidron
Gidron, which leads the bakery products market in Israel, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shufersal. The company produces baked products that are sold in the chain's branches and to external customers.
Among the company's products: sweet and savory pastries, breads, challahs and buns, baguettes, pitas, whipped creams, cakes, pizzas, donuts and a variety of gluten-free pastries.
The company owns factories in two locations:
The Dagon factory in Petah Tikva produces breads, rolls, baguettes, pizza bases, etc., as well as gluten-free breads and rolls. All products are Kosher and supervised by Badatz Community.
The Sahron factory in Holon produces sweet and savory pastries: cakes for baking, mousse cakes, whipped cream cakes, dry cookies, butter products, Passover products, gluten-free cakes and cookies, desserts and more. All products are Kosher and supervised by Hatam Sofer Petah Tikva and Badatz Community.
Both factories are under the supervision of standards: ISO 22,000, ISO-9001-2008 and HACCP. The gluten-free products are manufactured under the supervision of the GMP standard.
Gidron Industries Ltd. employs approximately 450 people in its factories and company headquarters, and produces approximately 2,500 tons of products per month.
Besides Shufersal, which is Gidron's main customer, the company has many other customers, including the retail market, bakeries, convenience stores, hotels, restaurants, pizzerias and cafés and the Ministry of Defense (IDF). In addition, the company exports to the Jewish market in France and the USA , and other destinations.
