Shufersal Business

In 2022, we continued the development of Shufersal Business, which coordinates the group's activities with the business sector. Activity includes direct sales to businesses, companies and associations through Shufersal Online and the company's branches, as well as sales to retailers through a dedicated business website and stores in the C&C (Cash and Carry) format. The company operates two stores in this format. They serve as a "supermarket for business owners" and address small retail points of sale and small businesses from the fast food and hospitality sector, with the aim of offering them a full and proper variety at affordable prices.

As part of the expansion of Shufersal Business, we established the subsidiary "Shufersal Amiga", which serves as a platform for the sale, marketing and distribution of food products in the institutional market: cafés, restaurants, catering companies, kindergartens, nursing homes and others. This year, Shufersal purchased the activities of Yossi Yisraeli Distribution Ltd., so that it will serve as the northern branch of Shufersal Amiga and can be closer to its customers, provide service nationwide, participate in institutional tenders, and more.

During the year, Shufersal expanded its activities into the stock sector and acquired the "Dan Deal" group, which operates stock branches and an online trade website in Israel, and specializes in import, marketing and distribution of home and office products. The company began to expand its activities by locating places to open more similar stores and creating business synergy between the stock company and the retail division.

The group intends to continue to develop Shufersal Business by recruiting new customers, increasing activity with existing customers, opening more C&C stores and expanding institutional private label products (Shufersal Pro).
