  • Self-service checkout – Shufersal knows that satisfied customers are ones who do not o wait long in line.  To slash waiting times during peak hours, most of the Company’s branches have self-service checkout counters, which handle a large portion of the store’s sales.  Shufersal’s surveys have found that customers were extremely satisfied with the self-service experience, and that children and teenagers particularly enjoyed running products through the register. 
  • Online shopping (Shufersal Online) – shopping habits have changed drastically in recent years, and many consumers prefer to shop quickly and easily online from home or work.  Shufersal’s customers now enjoy online shopping on the Company’s website. Customers can now view their previous shopping lists, search for products they like, and are even offered discounts on similar, cheaper choices.  Online shopping saves the chain’s customers a great deal of time, and each week - tens of thousands of Israeli families enjoy the service, which grows year by year.
  • Private label – the same quality, without the brand, for less. Shufersal is proud of its namesake private label. The purpose of the private label is to offer customers a high-quality inexpensive alternative to a variety of leading products in various categories.  The Shufersal private label features a choice of over 1,700 products in every category offered at the chain’s branches.  Shufersal’s private label sales account for 20% of its total turnover, following very rapid growth in recent years. 
  • Mobile app – Shufersal has a state-of-the-art mobile app that allows customers to carry out various transactions without reaching a branch or having to sit in front of a computer.  Using their smartphones, Shufersal customers can complete their online purchases, leaf through the chain’s coupons, upload customized customer club coupons, manage a shopping list adapted to their local branch’s floor plan, and more.
